Bozica Babic was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1977. She studied art history and catholic theology in Frankfurt and photographic design in Dortmund. Since 2004, she has been working as a freelancing photographic designer. She has been awarded

several prizes and participated in numerous exhibitions. "Women in Transition" was funded by VG Bild-Kunst Bonn.

„Women in Transition“

"Women in Transition" is a photographic work about women in Bosnia, who, after war and post-war depression, took their lives in their own hands in an attempt to redefine themselves and their country. Bozica Babic succeeds in presenting a snapshot of a transition process, just before Bosnia will lose itself or get lost in Europe. Babic will be showing a series of 20 photographs, she will be talking about the lives of the women in them, and she will report of her experience with the project.

The exhibition will be shown until 16th March at Goethe-Institut Frankfurt.
